DESCRIPTION OF SESSIONS PER CATEGORY

PUBLIC SESSIONS:
· Six years of age and over
· Children under 6 years must be accompanied all the times by an adult.
· Personal skates may be used.
· It is not allowed to practice figure skating, run, push, make holes in the ice nor throw snow balls.
· Hockey games are not allowed, nor skating at high speed or crossing in front of other skaters.
· Important: the rink supervisor is only present to care for your safety and not to give lessons.
· Half of each session will be used to skate towards the right and the other half towards the left, therefore equilibrium may be practiced on both sides. The switch of direction is announced over the microphone.
· Instructors give individual lessons (see price list)

LADIES ONLY:
· Ten years of age and over.
· Personal or hired skates may be used..
· If there are few people on the rink, then figure skating is allowed but at moderate speed.
· Individual lessons may be taken with an instructor for 20 minutes if same was arranged previously (see price list)

ADVANCED FIGURE SKATING:
· Open to all ages (Instructors will consider children under 6 years)
· Personal or hired skates may be used.
· Figure skating and high speed skating are allowed

BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE FIGURE SKATING:
· Open to all ages (Instructors will consider children under 6 years)
· Personal or hired skates may be used
· Jumps of one turn at medium speed are allowed.
· Axel and doubles are not allowed.
· Advanced skaters may only do spins in the middle of the rink and combined figures taking care not to bump into anybody.
· Jumped spins are not allowed.

FIGURE SKATING TEAM:
· For members of Ice Skate Café team only (a must)

FIGURE SKATING UPON INVITATION:
· Only for guests, for routine figures with music.

HOCKEY AND / OR SPEED:
· No age limit
· Personal or hired skates may be used
· Figure skating not allowed
· High speed zig zag skating allowed
· Neither pushing nor banging the banister are allowed.
· Important: this is a high risk session

ADOLESCENTS:
· Ages between 12 and 20
· Skating direction must be respected
· Figure skating, running, pushing, making holes in the ice are not allowed.
· Making snow balls is not allowed · It is not allowed to cross in front of other skaters.
· Personal or hired skates may be used
NOTE: IDEAL TO COME WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS!!

ADULTS:
· Ages 18 and over
· Ladies and gentlemen
· Personal or hired skates may be used
· If there are few people on the rink, figure skating at low speed is allowed.

SCHOOL 6 TO 12 YEARS:
· Personal or hired skates may be used, mixed groups with instructor.

SCHOOL 12 YEARS AND OVER:
· Personal or hired skates may be used, mixed groups with instructor.

KINDERGARTEN:
· The little ones will not be left out. Mixed groups, figure skating, with instructor.

HOCKEY SCHOOL:
· Up to 15 year of age. · Hockey instructor.
